Prior to working with Optimize Bay as a developer, Chris was a computer science and mathematics teacher in Baltimore. He is currently pursuing a MS in computer science with a focus in software development.
Chris enjoys making music as a drummer, going on international adventures, playing video games, and thinking about his capsule wardrobe that consists of way too much black.
Chief Executive Officer
Brandon is the CEO and Founder of Optimize Bay Media Group. Prior to this, Brandon was studying at the University of Baltimore, and worked as a freelance digital marketer and website developer.
With numerous search engine and social media marketing certifications, he leads the Optimize Bay family by managing top-level accounts and oversees most projects and campaigns.
Front-End Web Developer
Apart from the coding side, his skills include designing beautiful custom websites and mobile Apps, and has many talents in fields such as cyber security, pen testing and ethical hacking.
Mitchell Shapiro is an intern at Optimize Bay, assisting in front-end website development.
He previously studied at Carroll Community College and is now studying for his CCNA certification with Cisco. His goal is to work in the IT Networking field.
Mary Parrish is a filmmaker, video editor, amateur motion graphic designer, and aspiring taxidermy collector. She is based in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mary works with Optimize Bay to develop clean, beautiful logos and artwork.
Chief Bark Officer
Remi is the backbone of Optimize Bay. His upbeat attitude helps the Optimize Bay family get through stressful times and busy days.
Remi’s day-to-day job includes keeping the team positive and making sure everyone in the office has a smile on their face.
Adam has been working with and building start ups for many years. His first venture right out of undergrad helped automate the bookkeeping process for restaurants and accounting firms and became his first successful venture.
He has directly sold over 5 million dollars worth of products and services and brought large returns for the organizations he touched. He currently sits on the board of a global health charity, Bridge To Health, as their head of fundraising and business development.
Wa'il has a diverse professional career across a range of industries and geographies including roles at Pepsi, Walt Disney World, HSBC and Rooam Inc., with experience both domestically and abroad. Having spent more than 15 years in financial services, Wa'il oversees SITS business operations, including marketing, partnerships, sales, finance and business development strategy.
Wa'il is a published columnist and guest speaker at panel discussions and conferences on topics related to hospitality, business, banking, fund raising and more. He is passionate about environmental issues and has partnered on education and research projects with the National Environmental Education Foundation, Smithsonian Environmental Research Center and World Wild Life foundation.
Steven Rubin previously was the President and Chief Operating Officer at Bio Science Contract Production Corp. Steven oversaw the construction of a 54,000 square foot biologics manufacturing facility. In addition, he was responsible for all the financial and operational aspects of the company. As COO, he raised over $40 million in capital. $16.5 Million in special funding appropriated by the state legislature. An additional $750,000 was raised from the EDA.
The remainder was raised from private investors and banks. He oversaw the reporting to several government agencies including the State of Maryland, The EDA, and the FDA. He negotiated the sale of Bio Science to Cambrex for $130 million in 2001. At Cambrex, he was a Senior Vice President of Operations, responsible for all the operational aspects of the Bio Business Unit. He was on the acquisitions team, and oversaw the integration of an additional biologics manufacturing plant. He left Cambrex in 2002 to become President and CEO of Lee's Ice Cream.
He oversaw the construction of a 20,000 square foot ice cream manufacturing plant. While at Lee's, Steven led the financial, administrative, strategic and operational performance for this start-up entity. Under Steven's leadership, Lee's became a national known brand, with ice cream in stores from coast to coast. Realizing the financial requirements of being a nationwide company competing with multi-billion dollar corporations, Steven restructured the Lee's to a Mid-Atlantic company. In 2008 Lee's purchased a small local brand increasing it’s local presence. He successfully sold both brands in January of 2009.
